You don't ever want to hardcast pyro between RoP and Combustion. You lose at least two pyros during RoP because of the cast time desyncing the buffs. Are you sure about the hit changes?
A friend of mine said that while Mastery+Hit became Mastery+Crit, Haste+Hit became Haste+Mastery. I mean, it wouldn't really make sense to throw around that much crit, yet I wouldn't really complain.
