Re: Frost Mage WoD Questions
1. For dungeon crawling you're going to want to use either Ice Nova or Frost Bomb. Both are fairly close to each other so it's really personal preference(I've been using Ive Nova because it's less clunky than Frost Bomb, dat double nova burst doe) 2. Frost Bomb gets applied to the boss before PC ge...

Frost Mage WoD Questions
Hi! I hope everyone is enjoying the expansion so far; I'm looking forward to another tier playing frost. I have a couple general questions about the current frost rotation that I wanted to get some opinions on: 1.) During pre-patch, Frost Bomb wasn't great. UM was a clear winner on most SoO bosses, ...

With the 20% nerf to frostbolt that happened tonight, do you think that now FB is ahead of UM?

Re: [6.0] Dutch's Frost FAQ & mini guide for level 90!
Thanks for the quick reply Dutch. Really excited to try UM in raid tomorrow. I feel like Ice Nova on Mythic Garrosh would be stupid strong, 1st Intermission adds, MCs, Phase 1 adds, etc. I saw that you used it in your Garry kill last week, what did you think?

Re: [6.0] Dutch's Frost FAQ & mini guide for level 90!
I know I'm repeating people above me, but any kind of basic AMR values for this would be really helpful (I trust these findings, but they're really inconsistent with what's on IV, so I'm hungry for more info). 1.) Is there any fight in SoO that frost bomb is better than UM? Even on an AOE heavy figh...

Re: Frost Video Thread!
First of all, very nice TFP parse Durrty.
On the right side of your UI, you have the health bars of the boss(es) and next to them it shows the time remaining on your bomb talent.......what is that addon? Have been searching for a more efficient way to track my bomb and that looks really nice!

Re: Drjayfisto's Frost Gearing Philosophy
Well dang. That's a pretty darned impressive TFP parse. TFP and Noru, especially if you're running NT, should in fact see noticeable differences though. I wouldn't be surprised if you get a repeat performance. Thank you very much! I sure hope so, I guess we will see. It looks like the benefit from ...

Re: Drjayfisto's Frost Gearing Philosophy
Alright. So. I'm not saying this new build is the reason for it, but my damage was significantly higher tonight in my heroic SoO farm clear, specifically on protectors, norushen, and Sha. Like....ridiculously higher. Here is a link to the rankings/logs. http://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/report/zb...

Re: Drjayfisto's Frost Gearing Philosophy
I was looking over this thread for a question that I have, but I don't see it answered so I'm going to ask it here. I'm interested in pursuing this new 15832 haste ---> Mastery build. I'm wondering how to accurately configure AMR to reflect these stat weights. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: Flamestrike
Impressive, thanks for taking the time to give me this information. So basically flamestrike is very powerful, but only if we can guarantee if the mobs will be still for the duration that the DoT effect is up. Blizzard is similar since the targets have to stay still. Thanks so much again, this helps...

Flamestrike
I have always wondered a couple of things regarding our rotation when multiple targets are present. First of all, whether Flamestrike is even worth casting, and if it is, under what circumstances? Also, if we are talking about 6+ stationary targets that are grouped together, does blizzard or arcane ...

Re: Frost Mage Gear, Caps ect.
Aside from the information that can be pulled from the logs, I just wanted to mention that you have a substantial amount of gear that's really poorly itemized for frost (helm, shoulders, bracers, first ring). You currently have a high amount of crit, to the point that you are actually over the soft ...
