It needs to do something to the target. Fire doesn't need more aoe.

You can immune the slash with Glyph of Ice Block, you just need to pick Cold Snap to refresh IB before the second phase 1. That way you can keep Ice Floes.

This works if your group soaks 1 and only 1 cleave per phase.

Has anyone tried OP on Oregoreger? I feel like that's the only fight when it could really shine, but i haven't done any solid testing comparing it to PC. IMO it depends on your strat. We used the strat where both range groups use the outer corridor which means that Oregorger will move quite a bit b...

Thing is, if every DPS in your raid does the same thing going full yolo aoe, you'll lack damage on important targets and might run into trouble. Padding meter is fun but wiping to it isn't so unless you outgear the encounter I wouldn't recommend playing fire on Furnace.
