Is it finally working as we thought it would in beta?

It seemed very hit and miss prior to 6.1. Ultimately I decided it wasn't worth it in 6.0, since I was finding more things that would hit me through it than I would things that it would negate.

It's the lowest DPS of the three in that tier. You aren't missing anything, it doesn't interact with the rest of our kit at all.

Yeah. I was thinking you meant, in the sequence, FB -> IL -> FB -> IL IL and I rushed to be all, "No, don't do that! Please!" thereby misinterpreting what you said entirely. Again, I apologize.

Sure. That's why you dump your first FoF stack from Water Jet before your second Frostbolt lands. Unless you're in melee range, you have like ~1.5x of a GCD between your second Frostbolt being cast and it landing during Water Jet. Unfortunately it doesn't work quite that way, in melee or outside of...

There isn't really a set %. As always, play the spec you want, regardless of DPS. However, from a pure numbers stand point, you'll be better off running your character through simulations to determine when arcane will surpass frost for your gear. You are, but over the length of the fight, not a whole lot. It's one of those things that you can use to squeeze out a bit more damage over the length of the fight (Couple of percentage points at most.)

The only thing Mirror Images don't benefit from is the Arcane Mastery damage buff from having high mana levels making the option weaker for Arcane. I use both without even thinking about it. If I'm not in combat with anything I tend to alternated between WSAD and the mouse. Balances the load on my fingers I guess? Keeps them fresh for those ice lances.
