That is disappointing to hear. My Whispers is ilvl900, my nearest stat stick is ilvl855. I do have an ilvl875 Burning Sky that I was going to use alongside the Whispers. Who knows when I'll get a high lvl stat stick to compete with my Whispers.

Ya that is what I am noticing. So you also dropped haste? What legendaries are you using?

Do you have enough traits for Frost/Fire? Have you tried it on one of those spec's?

Awesome. I was looking over the main 7.1.5 trinket sims post and I couldn't find Helyas Brinewater Slime trinket. I'm not able to view the full dropbox at work, but I thought that trinket would be simming very well right now. Was it included and probably parse better after your sims this weekend?
