Searix. Can you extend the line for the 2nd arrow at the shipwreck to the world map, and all the way across it? It isn't impossible that we might find something in kalimdor.

We should try to follow the arrow. It points to the Cove of Nashal, where the destroyed Skyfire lies. Maybe a clue? The fire appearance was apparently a beta drop from suramar mobs, who no longer drop it.

No one currently knows how to get fire appearance.

3/3 but my main concern was why frostbolt and arcane blast as fire spec still do ~5% less damage than their tooltip says

Testing and found out a few more things:
-Not on GCD
-Cannot be casted while casting other spells
-Skada does not sometimes pick up the damage.
-Best macroed to another damage spell, e.g. /use 2 /cast Scorch or in a bigger macro

Couple things i've learned: -I'm not sure where my crit has gone, but at 2240 crit rating + sandman's proc im only at 68% chance to crit (x1.3=88.4%), so rotations depending on 100% crit you either need a lot more crit rating, or get ready for some RNG.
