Tomb Raider series

Hi,

I was bored so I picked up Tomb Raider Chronicles again(for fun). Probably going to play Tomb Raider 3 or 4 after this since I like having some kind of overarching storyline(that I feel is missing from TR5). I'm sure that you have all played at least one Tomb Raider game in your lives(Or you wouldn't be gamers). Which one is your favourite?

And which one should I absolutely play (again)? I haven't actually played any of the later ones that were made by Crystal Dynamics, are they worth it?

I did play one of the first if not the first and maybe the second as well.. They are cool games overall, just not my cup of tea.
