Hi everyone,
In Rinoa's Fire Mage guide, it says that the best opener with CiS talented is : Pyro->CiS->RoP->Combustion
However, in Simcraft, the default rotation opener is : Pyro->RoP->CiS->Combustion.
As I can't manage to make Simcraft cast Combustion just before the cinders hit the boss (because it waits for RoP cast to be over) I wanted to know if someone actually know how much DPS difference there is between the two openers?
Thank you for your help!
[Fire] Opening : CiS or RoP before Combustion?
Re: [Fire] Opening : CiS or RoP before Combustion?
That's probably a typo if true, there is no reason to cis before rop, it's done after rop because it gives pi stacks.

Must be a typo then, thank you!

I don't think it's a typo.
You cast CiS and while the cinders are traveling towards the boss you cast RoP and Combustion so your cinders get buffed by both before they hit and give you the biggest possible damage, along with a 5 stack PI buff (because all of them crit thanks to Combustion).

Did you need bloodlust to do that?

Heya! It's not a typo, but I should specify in the guide that there are certain requirements to be made -- it was silly of me not to. It's specifically for the opener with Time Warp when you can stand 30y away from your target. If those conditions cannot be met, we RoP before Cinderstorm.
