Prolonged Power vs Deadly Grace

So i what potion to use?

i feel like Prolonged Power is good, because the frost spec( Thermal Void build) has no real burst and is more about sustain damage.

But then i look for information online the Deadly Grace is often recommended.

Deadly Grace for single target, Prolonged Power for cleave and AoE. The difference between the two potions is however much smaller than it is for say fire, so if you are OK with around 1% less dps on ST fights, just use PP for everything.

How about prolonged on BL pulls, and then in the latter stages (20-30%) if you see the boss might go down, pop a Deadly Grace for the 2nd or 3rd Icy Veins rotation. How much do you feel the loss would be then? 0.5%, less? Because when it comes to progress raiding, chugging Deadly Grace on pull is VERY expensive :/

I can't find a post about this for Fire spec. I have asked others, and one group says PP and the others say DG.

Would someone please point me in the direction of the post about these potions for Fire Mages?

I simmed my character about 4 weeks ago. Deadly grace was ahead by 6k dps.
It is not much, so unless you are trying to get the most out of your character, you can stick with PP.

For hard pushes: e.g. Cenarius on mythic, Ursoc mythic, I would stick to DG
