Not sure what I'm doing wrong as Arcane

I should be doing better DPS on Gruul based on sims but I just have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Before I go through your log I'd suggest you have a look at your player skill and latency options in simcraft. It is one of the easy ways to overestimate your dps.

Looking through the logs a couple of things jump out at me. Firstly 86% uptime on rune of power. It looks like you didn't have a replacement up when the rune of power dropped off that you put down on the pull. Do you have anything setup to track your rune of power duration/buff?

Prescence of mind AFIK should be synched up with your burn phases. You want it use it on a 4 stack arcane blast going into the burn as it lines up perfectly with evocation. When you are prismatic crystal you want to use it into that.

Looking at your arcane missles hits vs arcane missiles buff it looks like either your munching procs or you are clipping the channel. 29 buffs vs 115 missile hits (23 missiles). As far as I understand you should use your missiles whenever you get to 3 stacks to avoid munching a proc.

Thanks for the input, my rune of power usage is definitely messy and I'll work on that.

AT doesn't have an "official" voice on anything, but most people tend to agree that using arcane missiles before hitting 3 stacks of arcane charges is always a DPS loss.

Apparently I was wrong. Always nice to have a gut feeling proven right.
