Arcane Missiles

Do you cancel your arcane missiles a little early you do you always let the last tick go off? I see some people cancel and little early and sometimes let it fully cast. Is there a situation you should and shouldn't?

Why would you ever want your spell to do 20% less damage. If you see people cancelling the channel they are doing it wrong and when looking at peoples logs this is only of the thing I look for to see how many times they clipped their AM casts.

The only situation you would want to cancel the channel early is if you have to move and if you know that movement is coming in the next 2 seconds you should use Ice Floes first so that you can then finish that cast while moving.

You should always let it go off. If you have to move, then it can happen - if an enemy is going to die before the missiles hit you could stop it, but in that case you probably shouldn't have cast AM at all.
