When the expansion was released i dropped on my alt (spriest) sephuz ring. Since then i farmed daily hoping to find a new legendary on my main, fire mage.
Today i dropped boots.
What shall i do? Just leave them in bags and keeping 840 boots with crit or just wear them for intellect?
Right now i'm feeling like i wanted to delete the whole account but i'm try to make a reason of it :\

How about:
- be grateful you got a legendary
- equip it because those 55 ilvl will still do more damage than a little more crit.
- be grateful you got a legendary!!!

There is bad luck protection. It's not exactly a surprise. When someone gets a legendary and it's not that great, he has a right to find the system kinda unfair.

OP, you have to sim your character to make sure. It is likely the legendary is better. It is likely it is not.

Alternatively you can find a good set of stat weights and use an addon like stat weight score.
