Which ring(s) to use?

Good to all fellow flame throwers!

I believe I already know the answer to this question but I prefer to hear from the community. I have acquired a few different rings and was wondering what the best combination for me would be.

1. Shard of the exodar- this ring is obviously not going anywhere, I guess I'm trying to decide which ring would compliment it the best

2. Gnawed thumb ring ( 850)

3. Vastly oversized ring (835 + socket)

4. twice-warped azsharan signet


I am fumbling between choices 2 and 3 really, I have seen many mages post that #2 is one of our BiS due to the on usage. I was wondering is it worth losing almost 700 crit rating for the usage? Now common sense tells me no, but I just wanted to hear from the community!
