So in 7.1 my opener was Ebonbolt -> Frozen Orb -> Icy Veins -> Spam ice lances till 0-1 procs -> Frozen Touch -> 2 Ice lances -> Water Jet -> Spam Ice lances -> Normal Rotation

In 7.1.5 so far I've tried:

1. Ebonbolt -> Icy Veins -> Frostbolt into Flurry proc -> Ice lance -> Water Jet -> 2-3 Ice lances -> Frozen Orb -> Frostbolt while its travelling to target -> Ice lances -> Normal Rotation

2. Frostbolt into Water Jet -> Frostbolt into Frozen Orb -> Icy Veins -> Dump Ice lances -> Ebonbolt -> Frostbolt into Flurry proc -> Ice lance -> Normal Rotation

I'm not really sure what the best opener is right now, so I created this topic in hopes that us mages can figure it out together. Any helpful input is appreciated.

Hey dude, I tried something different:

I found the best luck going ebonbolt-> frozen orb + icy veins, ice lance spam til gone, flurry+ice lance, water jet + frostbolt x2, ice lances, then frostbolt spam til things proc. I also had more luck not trying to use flurry to shatter my frostbolts unless I was already casting, but using it as its own separate instant following ice lance spam (followed by another IL of course).

Not sure what's best, but maybe try this one and see how you go.

Why not fire your flurry right after you pop IV?

By the time I cast IL, the first FoF proc has happened from FO.
