My fire mage - improving DPS

Hello everyone,

according to simulation:

my fire mage should perform 39k DPS in 3 minute static combat.
Unfortunately my DPS on target dummy is about 28k accoring to thos log:

I use (at least I'm trying) rotation from this forum and from Preheet Youtube video.
Such great difference suggests my playstyle is extremely bad.
What is wrong? My build? My rotation? Me?

You are comparing your target dummy DPS to raid/optimized buffed sims.

Since you are testing against a target dummy, change your sim from Patchwerk to Target Dummy and select No Buffs (this still includes your intellect). No buffs is with no food, flask, etc. It also doesnt include bonuses from other classes like Demon Hunter 5% magic taken. This should sim closer to what you see when testing against a dummy
