Blackhand: Ice Block (or BoP) soak Marked for Death, and then Greater Invis to remove the DOT. This is getting popular for raids that kill the demolishers after 2 throws, so as to avoid the demolisher spitting fire on the ground. The Mage then soaks and cleanses the 3rd throw, by running on top of Blackhand with an immunity.
Is this fixed? Can't make it work right now...

EDIT: pretty sure it is fixed now.

EDIT2: Blue Post came out. Fixed, sadly. :(
Spent like 2 hours yesterday's night trying to explain to Raid Leader and officers that it wasn't working. :D
Cleaning up dot got hotfixed. Soaking throw is still possible? May still be a okayisch strat.
Clarification:
You definitely can. Soaking while in ice block (Evanescence too I guess) makes you immune to Impaled Throw damage (or, if using GI, you will reduce the damage by 90%), however you will still get the Impale debuff, wich ticks for around 50k every 3 sec for 45 sec per stack so soaking both throws will leave you with a 100k/3s physical DoT (and we are clothies :/). This is the debuff that got hotfixed, nothing will cleanse this, only death or time.

You still get the debuff through Iceblock too though? Or with Iceblock you don't get the debuff at all if you iceblock before it hits obviously

This is after fix, since i just killed Blackhand about 2 hours ago:

Using GI right before the debuff expires prevents you from getting the DoT. Its not so reliable but i managed to do it frequently. Just use it in case you know that u cant reach the siege unit fast enough.

Yes. I havent tried it since then, but when ppl reported the fix here, i still was able to prevent getting the 30 Sec Dot by using GI right before the marked of death debuff expired.

Tried it last night, could not prevent the debuff from happening even with using G.Invis prior to the impale hitting me. Went back to using Cauterize after a few attempts of not being able to prevent the DoT with G.Invis.

Ice Block and Greater Invis doesn't remove the DoT, but will prevent (or severely reduce, in the case of GI) the initial hit. Using either to block the intial damage, plus running Flameglow is a decent combination. That being said, other classes are more suited to take it in your place if you get targetted without a Seige up.

Just a few notes here and there in addition:

Gruul:

Ice Block prevents the application of Petrify (dunno about evanescence).
Mythic only: Ice Block removes the Flare debuff. G.Inv does not.

Beastlord:

Ice Block and G.Inv remove both Rend and Tear's and Inferno Breath/Superheated Sharpnel's debuffs.
Ice block does not prevent you from being pinned down. True story.

Hans'gar and Fran'zok

You can negate the damage from Body Slam if the bosses target you. Just Invis or G.Invis the moment you see the red arrow on your head, the boss will stil jump, but no one will take damage and/or stacks. When DBM or BW warns you it's already too late.

For Maidens I tried Invising Rapid Fire again to understand it better. This time I saw the shots started to follow another player. I still don't if it's a timing question or it's just this way...

Sorry for being a bit thick, but how exactly do you guys time GI/AT on Kromog? I supposed AT just before you get thrown in the air, then GI and then second AT?

I personally use Ice Barrier rather than AT but I Barrier before the knockup, blink, GI. With AT, I would pop it before the knock up, blink, GI and then AT.
