Simulation Craft installation question

Hey guys, long time lurker, fairly new poster here.

The other day I tried installing Simulation Craft, and the download/install seemed to go without a hitch. That is, until i tried to open the program, i kept getting an error which read:

"The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-locale-|1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling to fix this problem."

I googled the issue and couldnt find anything particularly helpful. Has anyone else seen this issue before, or know how to fix it?

I had the same issue, try installing Visual C++ https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/cplusplus/" target="_blank

Worked for me.
