Need assistance with the deeps

Every week I see myself falling farther and farther behind on the dps meters. It is heartbreaking to see myself go from top 2-3 to bottom 2-3. Im not doing anything different with my rotation (is that the problem?) or am i just gearing all wrong.

I dont want to have to swap to frost to keep up, i really enjoy fire. Is their hope for me?
