Altered Time - your #1 World of Warcraft Mage resource!

With the removal of Alter Time and PoM, I'm having a hard time grasping how to open properly now. How are you guys doing your opener and how successful have you been?

So far I hit 100k on shamans opener but that was the best I got. Most single target burst has been 40k tops with around 20k sustained. I'm 587 for reference.

Been getting a little better at it. Kind of a weird thing to get used to! Hit 65k as my highest so far, also feel like I crit a little less frequently. Did they remove some passive or something??

My best pulls tonight were peaking at like 60k on single target, 120k on Shamans. You're probably seeing less crit thanks to int trinket procs not giving crit anymore.

so how many pyros u can get during opener? and what ignite do u get?

So far we killed 8 bosses yesterday and on single target i usually open with 45-60k dps, i havnt figured out how to use combustion optimal yet, I usually try to use it with a ignite higher than 9k.
However my gear is mostly Crit>Haste>mastery with 585 itemlvl.
Im slowly trying to get more Crit>Mastery gear.
The burst isnt as high as crit mastery mages obviously. but my single target dps on most bosses seem rather stable.
Between 20 and 30k on every boss fight so far.
I would also like to have some suggestions for getting a better combustion. Please let me know.

max I could get was above 10k and max pyros I could crit in a row is 3.. One more question as a troll we should cast berserking at start or line it up with combo?

I think you should use it in combination with your trinkets and obviously use combustion in the time youre berserked
