at 10k iteration, you're dps error is around +/-25 dps. So if you're difference is 10 dps, you need more iteration to gain precision.

If so, is there a list of bosses there this does or does not happen? I would like to know ahead of time so I can change spec accordingly per boss.

There isn't really a compiled list, I'd go ahead check if I were you and note on each boss. I figured a lot of them are too tall to cleave off so I've been lazy and running TV on all of them so far.

Maybe when the boss is so tall that you can't see the nameplate unless you put your camera on the ceiling?

Okay....sorry this took so long but I was running 250,000 iterations on each sim last night after I got home from work so there is now a 0.016% error on dps.

Mastery: 1.79

Not enough to start re-enchanting but def. interesting.

That's really odd, none of the talent sims I did have haste ~= MS.

Hi guys - first post on the forum here.

I'm wondering for single target fights, is there genuinely any reason to take PC over TV unless you know 100% that the boss will be tanked next to the PC for its entire duration. For me there are a number of factors which are not in our control that could result in the boss being moved away from the PC, resulting in a dps loss. I'm just trying to think about this logically - surely it's better to take away that risk (losing DPS) by taking TV instead on single target fights unless it's a fight like Butcher? Are the DPS gains of taking PC over TV really worth that risk?

It's worth learning how to use, yes. It'll require you knowing the fights, but most tanks don't move for no reason. Learn what moves tanks, plan accordingly, and get dat DPS.

This. Also, it helps that both Kargath and Butcher have little to no movement, so they are perfect fights to get used to using PC. And that extra bit of dps may be necessary for HC/Mythic Butcher depending on the dps of the rest of your raid.

Is it possible that SimC is overvaluing the Bleed enchant? My sims show the bleed enchant to be worth about 615 dps but my logs are showing me getting anywhere from 450-550. I realise that rng is rng for the amount of damage you get from any proc. But I would expect to see numbers well above 615 as well as below instead of all below.

Does anyone have any logs where you're getting over 650 or 700 dps from this enchant?

How does stat weights change when there are 2 targets for like 50% of the fight, which is pretty much the case for Brackenspore, Twin Ogron, Tectus and Imperator.
Which stats will be better and worse in this case?
