On mythic Tichondrius last phase (after 2nd bats) double icelancing + TW ring results in 1.0-1.3 mln solo target DPS for 80 seconds because of 100% IV uptime.

No need to shimmer, W or other special things. just stand in melee and flurry IL IL. But you need a certain amount of haste for it. Before it did not work and i had to W to get 2nd IL shattered
Do you stop trying to shatter FB before flurry for it?

Yes, the double IL not only fits in more IL per fight, it improves IV uptime which increases DPS AND enjoyability of the spec (in my opinion).
What I meant was that without the proper input tolerance adjustment you were losing out on DPS due to minimal cast gaps between spells. The issue is not necessarily limited to ice lances and IV uptime.

Yes, technically you will always lose out on milliseconds here and there with imperfect lag tolerance (any class). However frost (and I believe balance/sub) are gaining a mechanic while utilizing haste and tolerance while, fire for example, simple loses dps from the standard rotation.

I've written a weakaura to give the BF proc texture a red "border" if the following double Icelance conditions are met:
  • Brain Freeze
  • Icy Veins
  • Any Bloodlust/ Herosim effect
  • Target within 10 yards

Made a little video showing off double lance + forward movement. Makes it pretty easy to pull off, it just varies a lot per boss. On Krosus, for example, you have to move forward a lot to pull it off, but on Augur you hardly have to move.

I've written a weakaura to give the BF proc texture a red "border" if the following double Icelance conditions are met:
  • Brain Freeze
  • Icy Veins
  • Any Bloodlust/ Herosim effect
  • Target within 10 yards
But if you have the buffs, but not within 10 yards, you wouldn't know that you have to come closer.

Nicely done WA, however, I can reliably double IL from about 20yards while standing still...

Nicely done WA, however, I can reliably double IL from about 20yards while standing still...
Just change the distance trigger conditions (trigger 4) to an item with 20 yards range:

From: IsItemInRange("item:90067", "target")
to: IsItemInRange("item:10645", "target")

10645 is the Gnomish death Ray it has 20 yards range

I think in regards to the distance dance, there may some advantage using arcane momentum for the directional blink, and it would be a dps increase over the camera angle blink. having said that, it obviously needs some practice. other than that, I havent seen many videos on the 'dance' and I'd imagine ice floes is a vital part of it.

Is there any other way of maximizing the consistency of ice lance in regards to being in the correct distance for travel time?

Fair warning for our US comrades - you got Skittish next reset and tanks can barely handle the double icelance 1 mil crits. The only one that managed to actually keep up with my aggro was a warrior tank, but stuff like druids and DH were having a real hard time.

Does anyone know how long exactly the Winters chill debuff lasts? Is there a Debuff applied to the boss thats somehow trackable?
