Hitting the 2 dummies outside my garrison with this trick and I gain ~1.5-2k dps by double inferno blasting as often as I can with big ignites (not just with combustion, but outside of that as well. When I can manage to get to 2 IB charges and not lose living bomb spreads. i.e. every other living bomb explosion.

Basically, when I have 1 IB and the other is nearly recharged, I Pyrocamp until Hotstreak, dump as many pryos as I can then spread living bomb(regardless of Heating up) -> spread again.

And of course, when combustion is up, switch and use combustion on the second target.

I did this on iron maidens normal with good results... not got to them on heroic yet

Yeh i did iron maidens hc last night and i got up to a 50k combustion tick was doing 200k dps peak during hero, unfortunately i dc'd during the pull

Can someone detail the rotation for this trick again for me? I tried it last night and my dps was nowhere near what other ppl are reporting, and i have fairly strong gear (675, 2pc bonus, fully gemmed/enchanted with ~33%crit and solid mastery stat).

i tried on target dummy as well as throughout the thogar fight with little to no dps gain over my normal rotation.

my priority was as follows: cast fireblast till HU> cast infernoblast to get pyroblast> cast fireball to fish for another HU > once PB! and HU, cast living bomb> cast fireball and pyro at same time> cast meteor > cast another insta pyro > double inferno blast > swap to another target and combust/infernoblast> start normal rotation.

is anything above incorrect to get this to work? my damage peaked around 65k on thogar (which shoudl be much higher considering the huge adds and the other ppl claiming 150kdps on maidens).

also general questions: do you guys always continue to use the fireball cast and instant pyro trick when using pyro procs? and when if ever do you guys use scorch?

Was hard for me to get anywhere close to these numbers on dummies without full raid buffs. Noticed larger ignites but definitely not anything like I'm seeing here.

However was just in a normal maidens and got a combustion to hit for 31k using IF/kindling. 2 FB/Pyro then 2 more Pyros after that during hero + pot.

Remember, there's still RNG involved in how high your Ignite gets. Maiden's happens to be the best fight to fight a large number due to 3 Boss Health Pools (the others won't die quick like normal adds). Thogar, while it has adds, has a lot of other variables to make this cleave happen; adds that die quick.

When I tested this trick, if it didn't work it was because I wasn't at, or close to, the 1 second GCD with IB.

In the video above (the 203k on Maidens), he does not toss in Meteor, but I assume that's because he was on a good roll without it.

How do you get so many pyros in a row? Are you crit enchanted? I am lucky to get 3 crits in a row sometimes... I have 31.73% crit self buff is that too low to play this truick?

Is this really an issue though? It is certainly strong, but i don't think it improves Fire's dps to the point where it's OP.

I got my 4p now. The problem is... i struggle to make good use of it in an opener where we use BL. That is because it almost ALWAYS procs on your first pyroblast! proc but at that point, you gotta use prismatic crystal, thus wasting the GCD and then you are better off unleaashing fire+pyro fire+pyro pyro pyro x2ib(GSR) instead of using the one of pyromaniac and destroying your heating up+pyro combo. Any suggestions?


And something off point. I find it extremely annoying that pyromaniac's pyroblast consume your actual pyroblast! procs. I was under the imppresion that pyromaniac was 'free' pyros. Instead it just consumes our procs with the added benefit of being a guaranteed crit. Not as powerful as i thought.
