State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
Should we take UM on an Arcane single target fight if we don't have T18 bonuses?
If not, we take SN/PC?
If not, we take SN/PC?

Best Post Ever. Wonderful Work.
Do simulations yourself once you got some gear to find the exact point for switching. Its very easy to compare 2 talents in Simcraft.
In the first post Frosted mentions "the increased haste" and "Archimonde Trinket", so id say at the start go ahead with PC/SN and once you are geared switch over.Should we take UM on an Arcane single target fight if we don't have T18 bonuses?

Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
What percentage mana should arcane ve shooting for in the burn phase with the new set bonus/class trinket? Will we still be aiming to stay around the 93% mana mark during conserve? Also thanks for all this info!
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
Great work Komma (and the others). Thanks!
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)

Thanks Komma, it's always nice to have all at our fingertips.
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
Once you have the class trinket you burn as deep as you can until AP is finished (make sure you unglyph AP or you may very well run completely out of mana). 93% is still accurate for conserve. What percentage mana should arcane ve shooting for in the burn phase with the new set bonus/class trinket? Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
That was an excellent job. Well done!
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
The trinket only take effect during our burn phase, so absolutely no consequence on our conserve phase. What percentage mana should arcane ve shooting for in the burn phase with the new set bonus/class trinket? Will we still be aiming to stay around the 93% mana mark during conserve? Also thanks for all this info!
The set bonus is passive, so there is no reason to change your conserve phase too.
93% mana is not taken from nowhere, the 93% mana mark is here to not waste any mana ( http://altered-time.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=972" target="_blank ) and whatever your stuff is, the logic stay the same, so nothing will change for the "magic number" of 93.
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
Thanks for the work everyone listed in the OP, and thanks Komma for drawing all that stuff together.
I assume that since the OP didn't include the (correctly) assumed icicle/PoF bug that everything is still correct and accurate after today's fix?

Looking at sims with arcane and frost in the top 5-ish, do you guys reckon there will be nerfing incoming soon?
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
No because blizzard don't care about sims, and Arcane and frost suck for padding the meter on HfC fight, we will be king on priority target DPS but not on global skada/parse.Looking at sims with arcane and frost in the top 5-ish, do you guys reckon there will be nerfing incoming soon?
The only fight where we will be king of the meter is Zakuun.
Re: State of the Specs (June 20, pre-6.2)
I was going to ask if there was news about the icicle bug, but then realised that nobody on live servers has the item yet
