traveltime is between 0 and 0,75 seconds after your cast starts. Atleast for fire mages. Why does it matter? Because you gamble between ignite timings and spells hit. Basic idea: If you start your ignite from range, it will tick on gcd + 0,75, if you just spam instants after it and you run into the boss your last pyro will hit at roughly gcd timing. So running is sadly still an issue. (Basic idea just works if gcd is 1 second, but you should be able to get it.)I thought they set pyroblast "travel-time" to 0,75 seconds max during SoO. No matter the distance pyroblast would never hit later then 0,75 seconds after cast. Is my memory false or did they revert it? As I remember it the change was made to kill rocket-boots running. Also I thought that would kill any running if travel-time is capped at 0,75 and GCD at 1,0.

The 0.75s travel time was MoP beta. Had nothing to do with rocket boots.
