New Legendary ring discution

Well here it is boys, Frost gets Frozen Touch, Arcane gets Temporal Flux, and we get ... Flame on. So, no change for us really. Is controlled burn sleeper op yet ?

I think we're better off sticking with our current legendary setup. They seem so much better than getting a second 60 tier through the ring.

This is beyond pathetic.

You can't use the ring without Drackil, but an extra Fblast charge won't be anything better than Bracers, Belt or even Gloves.

It's just another big disappointment added in the fishing basket, so new mages will struggle more. Like I didn't had to go already through 9 oranges for the damn bracers.

Bear in mind, the text on these new rings say "Unique Equipped" not "Unique Equipped: Legion Legendary (2)". So it seems the interpretation is that this is a free 3rd legendary to equip for an extra talent along with great stats.

So Alexstrasza's Fury w/ Darckli's on AoE with Flame On for free, or Controlled Burn on ST w/ the usual default Flame On for free.

Honestly, I can't help but be a little relieved that we're not getting screwed that hard on our ring's bonus in comparison to some other specs' bonuses since it won't be an extra legendary everyone will be equipping. We all know fire doesn't need any more of that.

TBH Frozen Touch isn't good either. Splitting Ice is the default choice even on ST fights now. Arcane's bonus is great.

I really hope this ring can be equipped with two other legendaries. If that's the case, then Flame On for free is quite nice. I realize the current PTR shows it as one of two equippable leggos, but we won't know until we know.

Doesn't look as good as belt/wrist, it's a shame I wouldn't mind a change in rotation

The new shoulders look way too OP. Won't changed your rotation if you still run Meteor, but smacking the mob with a free Meteor every 15 seconds plus being able to run something on that tier besides Meteor seems too strong to be real. I think these will be nerfed heavily before their live. Otherwise they're automatic in the running for top 3 leggos.

If everything stays as is, Shoulder/Bracers will be far ahead of any other combination - and I believe they might want this change. I don't think fire having 2 BIS leggos as non tier slots.

You mean like frost and many other dps specs?
