You dont clear with ABarr during conserve, instead choosing to AB at 4 charges. This means a larger percentage of your ABs are at 4 charges, meaning you spend more mana on less ABs, meaning less AM generation. Each AB does not cost more, but you end up with less AM generation during conserve. Then you factor in that GS would replace kilt as a mana lego, and your other lego would be either ring or shoulder. You can also see that kilt expands on the weakness of GS by making 4AB-ABarr nearly mana neutral, in addition to better am generation.

His point is fewer ABs = fewer AMs.

If your average mana per AB increases, then you can cast fewer ABs - thus fewer AMs.

The GS response to this is that you get more mana by double the number of evocs.

Sadly the site is basically dead.

All the real info is on the discord and even then it isn't pinned, you have to read through pages and pages or get super lucky with searches.

I'm sorely disappointed with this site. I abandoned all other sites in favor of this one because of the attention to detail and information provided. But now, 1 full month into 7.2.5, there is NO updated guide on arcane except a spreadsheet for trinkets. Frost and even FIRE have full updated guides, but arcane gets no love at all. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT?! What is this fuqery?

Regardless if you are right or wrong in terms of there not being much info on 7.2.5, I don't see the point in making a post like this. Because if the point was to get flamed and told to to the work yourself, A++ to you sir.
