Tryin to figure out my flaws on why I'm not parsing any higher. The reason for so many scorches is because whenever I have to move for any reason whatsoever, I immediately start casting scorch. Is this hurting me? Should I just focus on getting to point A to point B then start casting Fireball again? Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism on where I could improve on.

Generally speaking: Unless the boss is at 30%> Health and you are wearing belt, you dont want to cast Scorch. ( Or if you have no more instants during combustion.. )

Sowhat you instead want to do is never move by feet but always use shimmer. Since you can keep casting during shimmer, you do not lose any casttime or have to clip casts.

My impulse is 2 major things for getting higher parses in your case:

If you play with kindling, you should play with rop to maximize the usage of of kindling.

And you apparently cancel a lot of casts hand have pretty big downtimes. For a class with a shit tonne of instants, that should be different

As Nooksi said, definitely try to limit your cast interrupts as you have 2 blinks and interrupts - interrupting casts should be minimal, or not happening at all unless an urgent adjustment is needed.

Your pyro damage is also quite low so make sure you're getting the most out of your combustions and pumping out as many spells as possible to increase your chances of bracer procs

They have closer to 50-55% crit. Not 34%, that's displaying the crit before any fire mage passives increasing it. My crit is 34% on wc logs too but in reality, I'm at 50 or so

I ended up getting a 975 +socketed Beacon and a 985 Injector in the same night last week. Excited to see the numbers I pull with these bad boys tonight. Also, moved some gear around and got my crit % up about 10% more than it was.

I have 49% crit in-game, 50% if I use crit food.
