Confusing Trinket Sims

I've recently been siming myself with possible gear upgrades to prioritize which ones would be the biggest upgrade and I've stumbled upon a rather odd discovery. Siming myself is showing Sheath of Asara over the Acrid Catalyst Injector. Any help to explain this would be helpful. Below are the profiles for my two builds. One is with Mag-shard and the other is with SFoS and Shard.

Not surprising since you're crit capped in both sets (33.29% with SFoS and 33.31% with Mag) . Acrid gives you haste which is always nice, mastery which is always bad and crit which is pretty much worthless if you're crit capped. So the value of the trinket is drastically reduced.

Your stat weights are very telling here - (Bracers+Acrid): 33.12 (vers) 33.07 (haste) 22.95 (mastery) 14.79 (crit)
- (SFoS+Acrid): 33.43 (haste) 32.93 (vers) 22.49 (mastery) 15.95 (crit)

So the follow-up question is: Would it be worth it to drop some crit to have the trinket worth more?

If you have good low/no crit replacement items it might be. Using the top gear feature on raidbots.com is probably the best way to find out.
