What was your highest combustion ever?

Personally mine was on a Garry pull, ignite was a little over 500k and the combustion did a grand total of just under 20Mil damage.

I believe my best is 137k tick Combust without Tricks on Garrosh this past week.

I think my best was something like a 213K tick crit with banner. My fire mage doesn't have enough mastery on his gear to get those gigantic 300-400K ticks.

I don't really pay enough attention to remember the highest, but looking at my logs, the highest Combustion non-crit tick I can find is 211551, totaling a 18.68m Combustion.

That doesn't sound right unless you play on Asian servers. 211551 / 20% = 1057755 ignite ticks. Are you sure it wasn't initial impact?

Well, that would explain it. You did Mage Armor pull, had 7 giant pyro crits in a row within 5.604 seconds, with a perfect 7-10 stack BBoY AT snapshot, and you had warriors for Skull Banner. That's about as good as it gets - unless your rogue friend decides to give you a hand with tricks as well.

EDIT: Cause I suck at counting Pyroblasts.

How are you guys getting such high Combustions? The biggest I have ever seen is with a 600k Ignite. Surely the running in tactic to get 5 Pyros in to the Ignite is not going to add 50%?

Drop some of that extra Haste you've got into Mastery.

Had my personal best on Nazgrim a few weeks ago. Something like a 806k Ignite tick Combustion. I don't why I have the Combustion ticks critting for 367,487 at first and then it drops down to 306,329 after 6 ticks. Overall totaled 15,052,564 off the first Combustion on a single target. Pretty good though without having Engineering or any proc type profession perks.

Sorry I haven't looked into it recently, why will many records be broken for combust damage? I have skimmed over the combustion tricks that have been posted but a quick explanation of what you mean would be great.

With the new trick, I am expecting people to report Dark Shaman Combustion crits ticks of around 1.3M. This triple what most of us are used to seeing. If you want an explanation of how they do it though, you'll have to read the threads individually.
