Combustion Technique - Tick compression

Let me call main target A and focus target B, cast a pyroblast, a fireball our a scorch on B dont decrease ignite when we compression IT? Doing it on 1.5seconds left is enough?
Because i am doing this rotation.

With that i can use all alter time bonus procs and because the last Pyro and focus Fireball still in the air when Alter Time end, i can cast more 3 pyro till Inferno Blast compression, with end me with a 4 pyro chain for compression.
But even doing it i can do only 1.1 ignite.
What all think?

Works in theory, not sure if it's actually optimal. Maybe if you're a troll with 1s fireballs during BL + meta + berserking.

My actual attempt that worked for me was on shamans with a 1.5m ignite.

Also: my guild still tanks shamans apart so it probably would have been a lot higher.

I got a pretty decent number on a shamans wipe on my ignite. If only my guild had good kill times or didn't wipe on shamans I would have had a rank 1. Meh this fire RNG is really frustrating, yeah the maximum number you can get on some fights is huge but is it consistently better than arcane?

Well, that didn't take very long. Grats Yoloswagging on his new rank #1 TFP, beating out the "old" record of 1.034M DPS with a staggering 1.28M DPS. WCL says his peak throghput was 8.6M.

thought i would throw this here just for my results on dark shaman. i didn't try on tfp because i seem to have fps issues on the pull for that fight : /

wasn't completely optimal with procs and i didn't use the second dog as my focus for the off-target pyro, but still had some pretty good results for it not being optimized =P

I think it will work on garrosh to I tried it but made a mistake focusing an add to slowly, but you should be able to start your opener and focus a warbringer as he runs in and drop a pyro and IB off him on to garrosh its tricky but im sure it can be done.

400K combustion non crit ticks. Bosses ended up healing so I fell pretty hard by the end. Did not play too well either.. forgot to swap to NT over LB.

Only chance you can do the ignite compression trick near MCs are if there is an empowered MC on the boss and it doesn't die somehow.

You would need lust and precast fireball and 3 pyros into Garrosh (or an MC but thats unrealistic since they have 300% of the character's max health in 25m heroic and 540% when its empowered so hitting 3 pyros in it before 20% with others attacking seems unrealistic unless a cast goes off on a tank). Lust in most guilds is used in p2 so having it up for the empowered MCs is rare also which means you have to get really lucky with 2 pyro crunched ignite before the empowered MC gets broken or somehow get A fireball cast and 3 pyros (or 2) before those quickly broken regular MC gets broken.

Seems like a lot of RNG and/ or bad play of your raid to be able to make it happen, and I'm sure a frustrated raid when you get the combusts off trying to reach 500k tick.
