Why has the value of intellect suddenly dropped so much? I clearly remember multistrike being around 2 and intellect around 4.7 making int almost twice as good. What gear are current sims done with?

The ones in the OP are done using highmaul mythic gear. The old ones were pre-raid.

I have the profile at home, I'll see if I can remember to link it here when I get there tonight.

Could you also trim the trinket sims and remove the duplicates? Pretty sure you cant use mythic / heroic / normal version of trinkets together . Such as heroic runestone + normal runestone.

I will not be doing that, no. If you want to do so, go head and I'll re-upload those.

Maybe sometime I'll just re-run it with an updated script komma has posted, but they take awhile to do and I'd rather get some of my other obligations out of the way >.>, especially since the list is functional as is.

You can't just remove them? That's kinda sucky.

I would have to re-run the sim, or manually edit them from the images.

Do you happen to have the sims for the 2 and 3 targets saved still? I'd be interested in the stat weights. I tried re-reading through the first 6 or so pages of the thread but didn't see it so if its already posted somewhere please direct me to it.

What is the optimal use of Frost Bomb, specifically for a 2-target scenario? Do you wait until you have 1 FoF proc, then cast it and any additional FoF's you get during the duration are just a bonus? Do you need 2 FoF's banked for it to be worthwhile? Do you just wait until you are going to use Frozen Orb or Water jet when you know you'll have a few procs?

I save all the HTML outputs :3

Unfortunately, I didn't run stat weights for the 2 and 3 targets. I suppose I could at some point. I don't think Frost weights shift significantly with 2 / 3 targets like Fire does though. I could be wrong though!

As for Fbomb, 2target use is the same as 1 target use as far as I know, since it cannot be applied to more than 1 target. I'm not sure if it's 1 or 2 FoF before casting Fbomb. I'll have to check the APL - I want to say 2 FoF prior to Fbomb casting, and using WJ to proactively generate FoFs before casting Fbomb. I do not believe you are only using Fbomb with WJ / FO. You should be able to generate some FoFs outside of those CDs I think.

Thanks for the quick reply - if you could check the APL or someone else knowledgeable would chime in, that would be great. I wasn't entirely sure what the optimal use was for single-target either as I haven't used the talent at all thus far, but its looking like the best option as we progress on Mythic Twin Ogrons so that's why when I asked I mentioned 2-target in case it was different from single-target use.

Someone asked this earlier in the thread. Yes, they are frost racials. I just forgot to re-name them to Frost after running the Fire ones.

So I got 2 upgrades last night Runestone and the Staff from Heroic Imperator putting myself at 663 ilvl and simmed myself, it's now weighing Int > Multi > Haste > Vers > Crit > Mastery.

Normally I'm pretty confident in the data I get when simming but idk.

Anyone getting the same thing? or am I just calculating something super wrong.

Anyways here is my Armory http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/s ... iah/simple" target="_blank

Why is this a bad thing?

Are you worried because some of the stats have changed place in the order? There could be a number of reasons why this has happened.
E.g. As you get more of one stat, the value of the other stats will increase A classic example of this is Haste. When you get close to the Haste cap, the value for Haste starts going down because after hitting the 1 second GCD, only a few spells are affected by the extra Haste.

Another is that you have different talents and / or glyphs selected compared to when you got your last set of figures. Some talents work better with different stats compared to others so SimC may be telling you to focus on those stats now due to the talents you currently have selected.

Finally, this could be a change in fight options compared to last time. E.g. Last time you ran it on single target but this time you have run it on 5 targets, or no movement to heavy movement which will effect the stats you prioritise.

I've got the exact same stat weights myself. Although I gained 6 ilvls since last week and haven't run it again but I expect it to be pretty close to that still. Haste/Vers/Crit are going to move around a lot, they're almost equal in value.

"Int > Multi > Haste > Vers > Crit > Mastery" sounds totally possible. In fact, I am quite confident my own character has had that stat priority at some point.

It is definitely possible - most of my sims come out this way but as already mentioned, it is greatly affected by which talents are selected.

For example on a Patchwerk fight (The Butcher), 250 seconds long (10% variance in length), 50k Iterations, I came out with the following results:

IN/MI/PC Talents:
Image

IN/MI/TV Talents:
Image

TV showing better than PC on Butcher style fight with the importance of haste increasing.

This was based on my armory:

For the record I'm going to be trying arcane for this fight next week.

More precisely Armanstrator, you are showing TV pulling ahead of PC on an approx. 4 minute fight. This is likely due to the respective cool downs the talent - 4 minute fight is just short enough that you cannot get your 4th PC.

Fight times almost certainly are going to shift things around a bit. The default settings are meant to give a generally good base to make comparisons on. If you want more specific information (What should I do for a 4min butcher fight? How about a 6.5min long 2tar cleave?) then you need to use more specific time options and sim using them.

I'm also finding Multistrike>Haste>Vers>Crit>Mastery now that my gear is better. This is at 656 ilevel.
