Another Combustion Trick? 2T17+PC

How do you get so many pyros in a row? Are you crit enchanted? I am lucky to get 3 crits in a row sometimes... I have 31.73% crit self buff is that too low to play this truick?

That would be from the 4 piece set bonus proccing.

You say to fix it, but Fire abusing an Ignite bug still doesn't bring up Fire to Arcane's level lol.

if this gets 'fixed', fire loses half of it's fun element. I am fairly certain it'd be somewhat underpowered too in anything but iron maidens. The rest of the fights only provide very brief cleave or burst aoe phases. I am gonna QQ so hard

As has been said over and over, this is a consequence of standard ignite function. It's not a bug. It's literally normal ignite refresh. "Fixing" this would mean a change to how ignite refreshes. I just did it on dummies with PC and a single target.

You equip the Alchiestone procc it prefightby buffing int or whatever,equip your other Trinkets(preferably a rppm one cause rppm resets when the boss is pulled)-->Triple Trinket as you can see in voltaas log (Intellect+Howling Soul+Void Shards)

As has been said over and over, this is a consequence of standard ignite function. It's not a bug.

I would like to emphasize this. There is no bug. There is no "weird interaction" in this case, which makes it different from ignite compression in SoO. This is simply a testament to the extremely powerful Inferno Blast spreading, and why giving it 2 charges led to most likely unintended uses.

So.. I was wondering do we know yet how much raw haste is required and if that is obtainable to get the 1 second GCD IB without being under the effects of a lust / haste trinket proc

GCD capping requires 50% haste. Not obtainable at all, and nowhere near a realistic goal to shoot for.

Very nice, but can you tell what talents Voltaa used at 75? UM maybe? I cannot see any damage for 75.

It has a few implications:
a) 2set ST dps jump is big, AoE is huge.
b) It's not intuitive. We can maybe do it, but a player that doesn't browse forums has no way to figure this out.
Those are my issues with it. The way dot snapshotting worked was also a game mechanic, but Blizz fixed it because of it's issues.

Tried it last night on Maidens and today on dummies. Maximum 25k ignites, but combustion was ticking for 12k.

I see what you're saying, but it doesn't need to be fixed. A player can still do well with Fire and not use this trick. If Player A is a normal/heroic raider -- even LFR -- and they only sign on to do raids and don't do much digging for their class, then Fire still performs well on many BRF fights.

If Player B wants to go farther and research their class and stumbles upon this "intuitive trick", then that player shouldn't be punished for it.

If for some reason Player A groups with Player B and notices Player B doing a lot of damage, that opens a gateway for player interaction, something MMOs are missing these days (hopefully Player B is open to helping Player A in a nice way).

Also, it's a nitch within this item set, further sets may not make this possible, just like other mechanics (Alter Time -PoM- Pyro, is an example); you get the chance to have something fun then move on.

I side on the aspect that this set bonus was probably meant to help with lower-crit players chain Pyros, however the player base noticed something else it can do.

I'm sceptical about any claim that it's "fixed", because there is no bug to fix, and any change would be non-trivial.
